California HEI
What's the difference between California and the other 49 states HEI? Wondering if there is any reason (other than known HEI shortcomings) I would not want to use a spare 1112497 dizzy (1975 350 4bbl Calif) I have laying around.

Other than the curve and the vacuum advance. Which is easily changed out. It should be the same. Stab it in, do some testing and see if it will work for you!
