After disassembling my engine (1968 350) I found that the prior build was done very haphazardly. Incorrect bolts, brackets forced on incorrectly, and just a general slapped together attempt at engine work. The fuel pump was so loose it would wobble. Could someone post some photos of the front of your engine please? My car has power steering but no AC. Thanks.

Here are some links to LARGE photos of a 68 with AC, I used these and others for my reference during restoration.
What you probably need is a "front on" picture of an assembled engine with everything assembled. The 68 service manual has some good information on how pulleys and brackets are installed. I would suggest downloading the photos in these links and then open from your computer so you can see them full size. https://i.imgur.com/ZEJTGtB.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Qh3aPc1.jpg https://i.imgur.com/vDtZhfM.jpg https://i.imgur.com/EQ6OKYY.jpg
