Default Plastic Fuel Cell Lifespan

I have a plastic 16 gallon fuel cell in my trunk. I am sure it is at least 15 years old. Is there an "expiration" for the age of these plastic tanks? It seems to be in pretty good shape, doesn't look cracked or anything. I am running 110 leaded race fuel

Unless it is exposed to a lot of sunlight i would expect
It to last quite a while longer. Inspect for
Cracks
Or leaks around the fittings maybe chafing around the straps
But if properly installed and supported you should
Be good. I have heard of foam
Deteriorating but I have not had an issue, but to be fair my foam
Was removed from
The cell (switch to e85) prior to its 15th birthday

I ran mine in my cold dark trunk for 20 years, no issue. No expiration I'm aware of either, so long as it meets the criteria mentioned above.

Mine has been in the car since 1978. 46 years and no problems. I removed the foam to run methanol a long time ago though. It’s not really needed.
