Default 1/2 check valve

Hi

I'm thinking about adding a Carter pusher pump near my gas tank to help starting the engine only and I'm looking for a quality 1/2 barb check valve for my rubber fuel line that won't cause too much restriction when running the car at wot.

Which product do you recommend to me? Is this product good ? (see picture)

Thanks in advance !

Pierre

If you have a mechanical pump you should not need such I set up just to start the motor.
Your likely issue is that the pump is sucking air due to poor connections from rubber fuel line to steel line, or rusted out pin holes in the steel line in between the tank and pump .

And yes on the suction side you can have these problems and not see a fuel leak.

If you have a carb fuel boiling condition from todays crappy gas then that’s a different story.
