Body was built in Baltimore.
Did they ship the body to Texas for assembly, OR is the V.I.N. fake? |

No. Bodies were not built in one location and shipped elsewhere for final assembly. (Buicks - yes; Pontiacs - no).
If there is a mismatch between the cowl tag and the VIN that's an instant red flag that something has been swapped. K

I looked at it originally, but looking closer at it now, it does look like it could be a B.
