I agree, even with the vinyl top I would be very tempted by that 72 if it were within an hour or so from me!

It features a high-performance street pump gas 600hp 455 Engine with Edelbrock Ram Air IV style Heads, High performance turbo 400 with Gear Vendors Overdrive unit. It has Currie Enterprises 9-inch Ford Posi rear end with 3:70 gears (stock replacement). This car was totally restored in 2003 and driven around the block and parked in a garage but got water damaged by a leaky garage roof. Has some rust spots and now it needs to be cleaned up and restored again. The engine was built by Pontiac Specialist Rock n Roll Engineering in Grand Terrace, Ca. The engine features a 4-bolt main with forged rods and bolts, Roller hydraulic camshaft with full roller rocker arms. The heads are mild ported. Everything in the drive train was new and high quality but the ENGINE needs to be the refreshed up again. To build an engine like this one it will cost at least $12,000 plus $3500 Transmission, plus $3500 the Gear Vendors Overdrive unit, plus $4500 the FORD 9-inch rear end assembly. It comes with an extra body shell for parts. The engine & transmission is out of the car and also the interior. It's not running, it will need towing. The sale is as is. This is a valuable restoration project car. The price is $18,500. Cash only in person.
