Default Any recommended machine shops in Southern California?

I'm looking for a place to take some stock cast iron GTO heads to have them redone. I was thinking about sending them to Butler in TN, but thought I'd see if there's any good shops in the Los Angeles area first.

You might try Valley Head Service out in Northridge. My friend found that place and was really impressed with their work. They have a Pontiac guy their that really knows his stuff.

Just saw your post.

Where are you located? SoCal is a pretty large area. I use a machine shop in San Bernardino, CA and happy with him. I currently have a set of 77's that he is installing stainless valves, hardened exhaust seats, and converting to screw-in rocker studs.

He's a couple miles north the I-10 Freeway at the Mt. View exit - so far south San Bernardino. If he is far away from you, maybe others will respond with trusted shops in their areas.

A pal of mine found this shop in Northridge. There's a guy their that does the head work that's very familiar with Pontiacs too.
