10013871 is the last version of the Formula wheel, have owned two of these. In counter sales circles, it was known as the "PAINT IT" wheel. Dealership body shops had a procedure to prep & paint the rim in order to replace interior colored '79-81 Formula wheels. Note the fine textured steel spokes that first arrived w 79 Formula wheels.

I wasnt even looking and found a beautiful nos SE steering wheel still in the box when I restored my car. I still have the box floating around somewhere. I have ran across a couple of nice things that I should have bought but had no need so I let them go. One in particular was a new in the box Pace cb that the guy wanted $200 for. I should have bought that one!

Another thing I always notice about the later wheels are the scalloped indentations where each metal spoke meets the rubber grip of the wheel. On earlier wheels, this area has no visual appointment and is just flat. Pretty much all of the reproduction wheels have this scalloped indentation, which would be an inaccuracy on earlier cars.
