Appears to be a '66 Ranchero (Falcon based) with '67 Falcon fenders.

Thanks Ed!

Makes sense now after looking at some photos online.

When did they start making Fairlane-based Rancheros? Were there years when both were offered?

Ford Ranchero switched to the Fairlane body in '67.
Falcon ceased production in 1970. There was a short period of time in 1970 when the Falcon became the base Fairlane/Torino model but I'm not aware if the Ranchero was part of that

Thanks again!

I don't remember a Ranchero with a 66/67 Fairlane front clip. Weird to me they went from Falcon to Fairlane platform in between those years since the body was basically the same.

1966 Ranchero. 66 used Falcon front clip, 67 used Fairlane.

Spied this healthy sounding, unrestored Chevelle last Thursday. I love cars like this.

A couple from last week. The Ranchero was in Scappoose. The VW pickup was out in Northeast.

Been trying for years to get either one of these old GMC from my 84yo dentist, it's like pulling teeth!
