Wanting to purchase leaf spring shackles correct for a 72 TA, non rusted please

Are the shackles/bolts different for early vs later firebirds? If they are the same I have a set with bolts from a 76 TA, light surface rust that will clean up.

I'm not smart enough to know that level of detail. Perhaps someone else here will be kind enough to part with that knowledge.

Yes, there are different bolt spacing with the shackles. Not sure when they changed. Difference is small, like a quarter inch.

Wonder why the spacing would be different, or where its different?
When ordering OEM or aftermarket performance rear leaf springs or shackles or bushings, they are all listed for 70-81 and most are 67-81. |
