Things with an official USPS printed label seem to have far less problems than hand written labels. Not full proof by any means, but it betters your chance for a good outcome.
This is just generally good advice for anything that can be printed. People either can't write properly/legibly, or people cannot read properly, or both.

Dropped off on the 14th, last tracking info was on the 15th. It is now getting ready to be the 20th with no updates
