Default nice day today

So I decide to do some oil changes. First I need to clear the GTO from the lift.

Drain the oil from the Jeep. Gasket on the drain bolt looks bad. Jump in the GTO to go to NAPA . Get fresh drain bolt. GTO won't crank. Wiggle battery cables. GTO cranks. Go home, Finish the Jeep.
Swap the Jeep with the Tahoe. Drain oil. Prepare new filter. AT NAPA I bought filters for both but for the Tahoe I wanted the longer style filter GM used to use. Done that before... filled the filter with oil, go to install it....won't screw on. Check thread diameter... old one .8'" New one .750. Check to see if NAPA still open...nope. Get in the GTO to go the Azone. GTO won't crank.
Get in other car to Azone check with guy for longer filter...AC has longer filter but not in store. Check other brands for longer filters....wrong thread diam.

Get the Mobil1 with proper diam but shorter style....whatever at this point.

Finish Tahoe. Check GTO for cranking issue...turns out slight corrosion on Battery terminal. Fixed and good to go.

Going to relax rest of evening.

George
