But Mopar Uncle Tony.
I have mentioned that SOHC 427 Hemi a few times around here.
He called Pontiac the "Wild Child" of American car companies. Said we had more high end stuff going at one time than the rest of the companies combined.
At least we got our props.

This Tony is one of the bigger U Tube engine/car guy channels.
He used to be a editor at High Performance Pontiac magazine.
Which is why he knows about all awesome engines Pontiac tried to build in the 60s and early 70s.
If Pontiac had their way their engines would have been the most powerful muscle car/race engines of the era. They tried had but got cut off at the knees time and time again.
GM brass and Chevrolets in particular would not let it happen.

Yep ! UT Tony DeFeo was the greatest magazine writer in the 80's at "Cars Illustrated " NY type street racer Mopar maniac and the coolest articles I ever read in his words and actions IMO
