Default New To Me 421 HO Pontiac Engine + more

I need an idea on the value of a 66 421HO with Tri Power, and complete to the front driveshaft yoke. That's right, bellhousing, clutch, and 4 speed. Engine has the correct color Pontiac paint. All matching numbers. Everything completely rebuilt with all of the paper work included. New Pontiac parts or better as they were needed.

Came out of a 66 Catalina 2+2 Sport.
I had a friend in college and a Vet just back from Viet Nam years ago that scared the crap out of 3 of us when he took us for a ride in it. His was the same engine setup but not with the Tri Power like I just bought. Awesome car, with a beautiful factory Cameo Ivory paint with a black vinyl roof. White interior too with a black dash, console, and carpets.

I'll tell you what it cost me in a few days. I've agreed on the price the guy wants for all of it. Now to pay him and put it in storage for awhile. I might swap out the 400 and drop in in the Goat over the winter. Everything to get it in and running is included. I almost passed out when he told me about it 2 weeks ago.

Why do you need an idea of value when you've already agreed on a price?
