I have to agree. Beyond my imagination by a long shot.
That is another one beyond my imagination. Never knew such a large hovercraft ever existed. Going to try to do some research on that vessel after while. The US Military had a pretty large one , but only about 10-20% of that giant. |

My uncle's dirt trackin' Pontiac in 1988. It then became my cousin's race car a year or two later.

George Carlins 70 TA still exists . 4spd #s car.
He kept it for a Long Time himself. The Vital Signs Bird looks to have lost all of it's vitals. |

I stumbled on a photo website hosted by University of California - Davis. Over 13,000 photos from Northern California, Southern Oregon. Taken by a well known Postcard photographer between 1912 to 1967.
On a whim I entered into search, the town I grew up up in (Anderson CA, ) during the 1950s & 60s. What I found was a photo that was of direct interest to me. This 60 Ford is one of the Starliners my parents owned. The other was a red '61. Dad drove down to LA (600 miles) to buy this car. Photo was taken in 1961/62. Anderson had about 4500 population at the time. To the far right appears to be a 55 or 56 Pontiac, behind the 55 Ford.

The Red/White fender - with blue roof - is Sox & Martin .
Sponsored by Gate City Mercury in a 1964 Comet . I think that was the only year they ran a Ford product. |
