Stan, Any plans on making more of these? Just starting my project. Also what's the cost on these?
Thanks, TJ |

tj.brewster,
I have the machine shop making a few more. Basically using up the material they have on hand. Have 1 set of the last run left. I’ll send a pm. Thanks, Stuart “Stan” Landreth |

All,
Just finished what is likely the last run of the bones. The cost of the material and machine shop time going forward will just be too expensive and I believe will put the cost beyond what most will spend. This is the last 12 sets which makes 96 sets! Thanks, Stuart “Stan” Landreth |

Can you give me an update on what roller lifters are being used today with this conversion? I was told the current Sealed Power lifters that had been ideal and now made in China and do not work any more.

65madgoat,
The sealed power HT2148 lifters and the other but more costly are Howards (Gaterman) 91174 The Howards lifter is in the bottom . If you use sealed power make sure the oil feed hole looks exactly like to one on the top. Thanks, Stuart “Stan” Landreth |

P@blo,
I wish I could give senior, veteran, and first responder discounts, but unfortunately I only make $10 a set for my time to box and ship them. I probably use that up in gas. I made these for myself and a few fellow PY’rs talked me into making a batch as they wanted a set. That turned into several batches. The demand has dropped off as most folks interested have already purchased. Not worth my time to advertise to break even. Just wanted to contribute to the hobby. As far as cams, if you look back through this thread, you will see a couple of guys posted their successful cam setups. Here is mine. Thanks, Stuart “Stan” Landreth |

Stan, Question regarding the cam you're using since i'm not good at interpreting cam card info. Are you using that in a street cruiser? If so, how is the idle quality and vacuum?
Thanks, TJ |

tj.brewster,
Sorry didn’t see your question earlier. The cam Lee came up with for me was to keep it totally stock sounding and maintain factory vacuum while increasing reliability and power. I am also using the stock exhaust manifolds and exhaust. It will appear 100% original on the outside. Any other questions feel free to PM or post here. Thanks, Stuart “Stan” Landreth. Also, we scrounged up all the material that we had here and made what is most likely the says sets. I have sold most of them. I think I’m down to 5 or 6 sets left. |

Looks like the Comp Cams 31-1000 part number has been discontinued and is no longer available. The old Comp part has been replaced by the same made in the USA product, like Bruce Springsteen, Howards 90142 for those that want to know.
Probably from the same place as the Comp looks the same. |

P@blo,
Thanks for the update on the Ford spider for the guys that want to use that approach instead of the bolt in system. That being said, I have several sets of the dog bones left. I also have 2 sets of USA made sealed power HT2148 lifters for sale to complete the “kit” Thanks for all the support! Stuart “Stan” Landreth |

All,
Have 5 sets of bones (retainers) left. Will not be making more without preorders in a quite large quantity. The pricing has skyrocketed on the materials. Lifter are all sold. And a big thanks to all that have purchased and are running them now. That’s 142 sets not including the 4 sets I have set aside for me out there! On to the next big idea. Thanks all, Stuart “Stan” Landreth |
