Every A I have seen has had hidden wipers. What do the arms and park position look like for non-hidden wipers?

Will have to take comparison pics. Two of my keeper 71 233's have the standard exposed wipers.
Concealed wipers were not standard on a '71 Pontiac A-bodyuntil one ordered a 235 series LeMans. Similar deal with carpet, cost extra on the '71 T-37's.

That looks rough.

Looking at an aftermarket wiper setup - noted differences. Standard far cheaper but ugh...

Wiper arms, wiper transmission & pawl assembly, as well as wiper motor & wiper switch are different for '68-72 A-body non concealed wipers in comparison to concealed wiper A-body counterparts. Wiper arms are same on non concealed wiper setups, left & right. Concealed '68-72 A-body wipers had a different wiper arm for each side.

I suspected my linkage and pivots are worn so thinking this is a good time to change. Issue is the repop linkages are not that great either.

I wonder if rebushing or resleeving them is an option?

Roger, I am baffled with the wiring of the 71. 1972 factory manual shows wiper motor power feed as the one of the outer tabs, yet other sources have the center tab as power.

What have you noted? A couple hours searching online leave more questions than answers.
