There are a ton of photos of the brown T/A on the dealers’s website. It has an Olds 403 under the hood. There’s something funky going on with the intake, the shaker sits way too low. The 6.6 decal just barely peeks out of the hood.

78 Trans AM WS6 L88 SE in Texas at $15K BIN. When I see an open intake like this, I wonder what crawled down inside and died in there.

This makes zero sense. This car just sold on BaT. Or it didn’t sell even though it claimed it did.

Ebay auction is gone now. So tired of having to wade through scams and misinformation online to find truth.

Agree to some degree. Most of these cars should be seen before buying. I plan on selling one of my 69 Firebirds and plan on listing it on eBay. If it sells, great, but if it gets someone very interested to come over and look at it, if a deal is struck, it goes away.

I've bought 3 cars off eBay. The 80 turbo T/A was listed for $5K and I put an offer of $4500 on it, and then it sold. He relisted it and sent me an eBay message telling me he'd take the $4.5K, but wanted to do it outside of eBay (about 5 years ago). It all worked out, but I didn't pay for it until it was delivered.

If you see a deal too good to be true and it's close to you, it may be worth an afternoon to go see it.

68 Pontiac (yes "Pontiac") Beaumont SD. Never heard of it, so I find it mildly interesting. The instrument gauges are Pontiac, which I find odd. From a production standpoint, I would assume that would take some work.

69 Firebird in Canada at $65K. A dream come true for whoever built it, but your dream must share in their dream for that much money. LS1 and the interior looks good. Worth at least half of the asking IMO. I'm not a fan of painted chrome bumpers and blacked out wheels, but that's just me.

My first car was a 68 Chevelle. I paid $600 for it in 1978. Stock 307 with a Holley 650 DP, headers and an 8 track tape player. If I floored it, it would spew smoke, but it never failed to get from point A to B. Drove it 6 months and sold it for $600. It looked like one entire side was hit with a ball peen hammer , but it was awesome to me. Good times.

75 Trans AM in Missouri at $50K BIN. I own a 75 Trans AM in red with a black int. Pretty car, but the front seats reek of a of a first try at upholstery.

79 Trans AM SE Y84 in Washington with a reserve. I sold a 79 gold T/A about 7 years ago for $4K with a better body and a transplanted Olds 455. Rust in the quarters, so a "deal" price would be around $7K IMO, but I don't know much about the Bandit cars.
