Exclamation

I had a response to this wheel wanted request from a man named Don Carrol. His response directed me to a gentleman named Gran Chooh in somewhere Texas.
Chooh sent me a nice pic of two early wheels with retaining clips for dog dish caps. Great!, I’ll take them both I said..
I told him I would pay him via PayPal . His response was that he could not accept PayPal but his wife used that payment system and I could forward it to her acct. (Carolyn Cox) I processed the payment but when I sent it it came back with a PayPal statement that it was fraudulent claim.
I sent a screenshot to Mr Chooh and he responded that her PayPal account sucked and send it to his sons PayPal account,. Now I’m really skeptical but I play along. Same results……….. PayPal says this looks fraudulent also so I shut down Mr.Gran Chooo.

It appears that Mr. Carroll and Mr. Gran Chooh are both suspended from PY and probably for being crooks/scammers ..

PayPal saved my bacon, thank goodness.
Take this for what it’s worth. I know nothing else about these two and don’t want to!!!

Jerry, sorry to here that you had to go thru that, I have a couple of 15X6 rims with the 5X5 bolt pattern left over from my old 73 Catalina, would these have the clip mounts you are looking for? If so you could pick them up for free

Thank you, Jeff. Very generous offer but yur will not accommodate my 61-62 dog dish caps. These particular hubcaps require spring steel clips that the hubcaps snap over.

Many thanks, Jerry

I looked for 15" wheels that used the clips but never came up with a set so I had my 14s made into 15s. It wasn't cheap but they came out nice.
