Roger Manson from Canada runs his Rapid Fire Jeep of sorts at the drags to the tune of 8.70s over 150. He decided to run it at Speedweek and the guys from BangShift.com did a deal on it. Click the link to check it out.

That is a really nice article and great pictures. A cool blend of old and new tech. You can easily tell by reading the text that the author "gets it", he understands what the owner is trying to achieve. Impressive.

The engine from this little beast was on the dyno this weekend at Dave Bisschops of SD Performance. Little blown Pontiac ripped 597hp at 6300rpm.

"He has made all of his major performance marks with a factory Ram Air II head on the engine. While the Edelbrock aluminum head is a good performer, Roger said that his old stand by which is a Pontiac Ram Air II iron head will be heading back on the engine because it is more beefy and holds head gasket seal better under boost than the aluminum piece."
Get back Roger! "Get back to where you once belong" Very cool article, thanks for posting DragStarLeMans. Frank

Here is another Manson engine on SD Dave's dyno. This is a 180ci 4 banger Pontiac. I think they went easy on it at 6400rpm. Roger said it buzzed to 7500 easy and still pulling.

Another project coming out of the Manson shop. Roger had Hogan build this 4cyl intake to fit a 4/71 under the hood. The predator carb is only for show. The picture with two starters is more of a joke than anything. The lower one is what he runs on the Rapid Fire with a powerglide.
