Default Local show...new to me!

Traveled about 60 miles to see some friends hosting a local show. Good people, a great time for a worthy charity.

About 25 minutes in is my LeMans!

So many great cars, from DeLorean to Ferrari to Aston Martin and Saab.
Trans Am, GTO,, Lamborghini, Mustang, and Monte Carlos and many more. Just wanted to share!

I never paid any attention to the door lock placement. I had to go check.

I would guess the owner moved the door locks to the middle of the door to make it easier to reach with the roll cage they installed, I have never seen a 73 with the door locks moved to the center of the door before? But maybe I am blind.

I always assumed they were placed towards the rear of the doors so you could put your arm out the window comfortably.

They're not moved, mine are in the same place. It looked weird when someone pointed it out but in 20+ years I never noticed it.

Thanks cdrookie! I learned something new today, all my 73-77 GM A-bodies have been Wagons, and the locks are toward the rear on the 4-Doors, I never noticed the difference on the 2 Door's. Funny I have owned several 76 & 77 GP's and I don't remember it being located there, but apparently they were! Makes sense with the extra long doors so the driver would not have to reach back to lock or unlock the doors.

And it does suck trying to put your arm out the window!
