Both my son and myself have been looking forward to this show since last year. Its a shame it didnt happen this past weekend as the weather could not have been better for August. It was saying 40% rain in the afternoon, but looking at the weather channel this morning it looks like rain all day now. I hope it changes back to no rain! If a shower should hit once Im there Im not too worried about it. But I am not leaving in the morning in the rain.
If anyone was there a few years ago, I was the dummy that left his windows down during a 15min downpour!!
Heres hoping to a clear morning in the least!

Kerry, you weren't the only one that had windows down.

I might make it but not sure as of now.

Did anyone make the show?
It was pouring down the rain Sat morning when it was time to leave, so our cars stayed in the garage. Ended up it pretty much rained on and off all day long. I know the weather changes an hour north so not sure how much rain they got in Landisville and how many cars actually showed up. Sorry I had to miss.

I was there with my '65. Hit mostly mist on the way there (west) from Lehigh Valley. It rained a little early in the show then was just mostly cloudy for most of the day. Hit some mist going back home. They had a pretty good turnout in spite of the weather. Close to a hundred cars by my guess.

I had a couple models entered in the model show as well. Biggest model car field that I can remember from my 4 or 5 years of going. Was fortunate to win the Senior Non-Pontiac model car class with a just completed JOHAN 1/25 1970 Olds 442.

Thanks for the report.
I met a fellow yesterday at Lowes of all places. He had a beautiful 68 Lemans. After talking for a bit he mentioned this show. So we chatted about that for a bit. He echoed your thoughts. Said in spite of the weather it was a good turnout.
I am glad for the SVGTO that it was a success. I sure missed not being there, hopefully next year.

My son and myself have been looking forward to this show for the last 2 years now (missed last year because it was raining hard at home). We even just changed our vacation time so we would not miss. My car crapped out yesterday and I am hoping its not too serious or I will be riding shotgun this time.
