In post #1459 the picture of the antique sedan- looks as if the left front door can't open with the sidemount spare where it is. ????
What make of car is it?

On a very positive note, the oil leak that developed at the back of my motor has stopped after tightening some loose oil pan bolts. So no RMS leak. That's a relief.

I can relate. I pulled a sheet of cardboard out from under the GTO the other day and found two oil drops on it. I thought the rear main had let go and was feeling defeated after all the work I did to get to seal. I put a fresh piece under the GTO after we drove it to a show the other day and there was nothing. It turns out the cardboard was previously under my son's Ventura...whew!

I took her out yesterday, going to do the same today. I have been working on her steadily every week since i purchased her. She is running so much better than a couple of months ago. Doors hinges are this coming Saturday, both sides. I have been researching for months on how to do it, I think I have every tool I could need to make it an easier job. Back to the drive though, very fun drive, AC is cooling much better but I am noticing rattles when I hit bumps, sounds like it is inside the car like either in the door or behind my head. No worry though, she will be perfect one day.

Did a Sunday cruise up the Thompson Canyon to Estes Park, Colorado, then back down through Glen Haven with a couple car people. Torqhead from the board joined in.

Spent Sunday at the Goodguys show in Pleasanton, CA. I got up way too early for a weekend to make it down there, but it was a fun day.

Got the His/Hers shifter installation done for my 67 GTO. Had some issue with the repo cables (tried 2). Fortunately I had an original that installed without issue.

Going to the Harper Cruise in a few minutes. It is from 5-9 pm in St Clair Shores MI., put on by the Shorewood Kiwanis. This has been going on for over 2 decades. Nice little cruise, 74* and 30% humidity, not bad for a cruise night.

Dropped the GTO at Flint's Sloan Museum.
It will be on display for one year as part of their "Cars from the Community" display. K

The town I work in up the road from me had their last cruise in of the season. 191 cars showed up. Not bad for being in the middle of nowhere in a village of 500 people! The nearest stop light is 25 miles away.
![]() Ate a lot of food, grilled by our volunteer fire department, and my two sons brought their GTO and Chevelle. I took the Catalina. Edit-Oh yeah! I ran into my financial planner there, who introduced me to his dad. This guy has a stockpile of Quadrajets he doesn’t know what to do with. Told him I’d take all he had! This is just a few of the Pontiacs

We're having the floors done at our house and I just noticed the workers made themselves at home by co-opting one my in progress honeycombs from the garage as a air compressor line wrap. Resourceful, I guess.
