Question for all you guys running headers on your 4 speed a-bodies. Where did you attach the clutch fork return spring??? I know the one end is attached to the clutch fork but where did you attach the other end of the spring.
This is on a 65 GTO Thanks for your help, Mark

Reviving this as I am looking at my 65 project with the same potential issue. Spring hooks on the flange of the exhaust ,manifold.

On one of my cars, I had to put a clamp on a header tube to get a decent anchor for the return spring. Don't remember what I used though.

Thanks. I was under it this week getting all the old gas out of the tank and started to look at that potential issue.
