Missed out on that. I should have been paying more attention to the classifieds.

A gentleman's hot rod. AC and a turbo 400. Love the color. Have been a fan of 71-72 GTO's for decades. Congratulations.

Thanks for all the kind words! 65 years old, my first real GTO. I've driven it around town a little, waiting on tires before I run highway speeds. The BFG's on it now were installed in 1992! The DOT code on them is 441, 44th week of 1991! I can't believe they hold air!

Awesome GTO, with an excellent color combo!

Those BFGs are older than me lol

I would not be surprised if the new BFG's are no different in tread and rubber compound is not worse.

Default New to me 71 GTO

Great car. On 8-28-25 I celebrated 54 years of owning my 71 purchased new on 8-28-71. Still completely original and unrestored. The only new car I ever bought. Hope you enjoy yours for many years also.

Very nice, treat yourself to some new seat covers and you'll enjoy getting in that thing and taking people for rides for a long time.

Check out the tires born date, sometimes these classic cars have really old tires that are no longer gripping like they should.
