70 GTO 455 HO 4-speed convertible with a reserve in CA. 1 of 158. Are the air cleaner stickers correct?

I’ve always wondered if the 70 455HO had the air cleaner callout and I don’t know the correct answer.
The 70 looks like a fantastic restoration with lots of documentation. Not sure exactly what color they used on the engine

That 70 is sweet. The 70 455 gets more market love than it used to in the 80-90’s. This one should do well with the right teams and colors for retail success. Engine color is incorrect, looks like the early 70’s engine paint shade. Engine call out is incorrect , that was for the 71-72’s.

66 Lemans in Florida with a reserve. I absolutely love the way this car is finished with everything stock Lemans, Rally II's and a GTO hood, but all Lemans emblems. Super sharp car.

Nice LeMans ((the last one), looks very clean, too bad people can’t resist putting GTO parts on them. I won’t even mention the godawful air cleaner.

I was fixated on the driver seat cover, that I didn't notice the extra add on arm rest on passenger door!
(or the many other things wrong)

Or the screws holding the potato chip of a dash pad down?

That's what $40K buys you (this is a $50K car)... all that stuff is right. My only point is that I would friggin' love to drive this car to work for a summer. It has a 455HO, and you can drive it.

71 GTO 4-speed in Texas with a reserve. My back is killing me and I'm all pissed off for no apparent reason, so I'm going to take it out on this car. Much like the Buick air cleaner stickers (it has those too) and poser Ram Air stickers (does not have those and looks way better), I highly dislike the addition of the "Hurst" emblems placed willy nilly strewn from hell to breakfast. It's like the VW emblem on that Beastie Mike D... it's bizarre and not stock and just wrong and I hate it. /rant. It is a nice car, but I'm still right within the confines of my world. To each his own, which is what make the hobby fun.

I have a 1968 Beaumont SD396 that I have owned for over 22 years. I know of the previous owner of this car. Even though they are recognized by POCI they are NOT Pontiacs. There weren't enough Beaumonts built for GM of have Beaumont dealerships so they were sold through Pontiac dealerships.
There were 702 1968 Beaumont SD396 coupes and 65 or 66 convertibles built.

The entire dash is the same as a LeMans or GTO dash. Almost everything else is Chevelle.
