Default 1975 TA Transmission Not Aligning Properly

So I just installed my Pontiac 400 with a fresh rebuild. Also new th350 since my old one was cracked. I dropped the motor in on energy suspension motor mounts. Couldn’t get it in right. Cut off the tabs. The trans butted up, bolted it up to the engine and wanted to call it a day, but the tail and drive shaft looked pushed to the pass side.

I tried to adjust anything I could. Obviously couldn’t move the engine but the crossmember and new energy suspension transmission mount. Couldn’t really get it to budge.

So I ended up thinking maybe it was the motor mounts. So I swapped them for some more stock ones. They had a large hole at the bottom that made me believe I could tweak it a little. Engine was easier to get on.

Got it all set up again. Trans to engine. Readjusted. Same thing. Trans is pushed to the drivers side. I messed with it all day. Could really get it to look more centered. The shaft does look center in the diff, but not up top where it connects to the tail.

I was reading Pontiac in that era tend to be moved over a bit. My concern is this feels like it may be an issue.

Didn’t take a pic before I pulled to reference. And you can tell me that’s right. Which I’d be thrilled to hear. I’d appreciate the help.

Thanks,
Adam

One last thought. I did change the body mount bushings. I did them side and it shouldn’t have shifted, but I wanted to note that. The alignment holes do seem good.
