& suddenly the number of "viewers" in any given sub forum has substantially dropped... went from 1500-2500+ viewers in just the street section almost all day/night for the last 4-6 months, back to the "normal" amount of 350-390 or less than 500 viewers now.
Did AI & the bots get all the info they needed from the site or are all the spammers & scammers on vacation this weekend? |

I was watching a video on website coding the other day. Evidently there is a setting/method to deny access to web crawler, scraping bots etc. But I think you then also lose search engine compatibility.

Looks like after the data base updates & spam/bot blocking we are now back to a "normal" amount of viewers at any given time/day... went from 1500-2500 in just the street section alone to a legit 151 now viewing. And the site runs soooo much faster.
Thanks to whoever did whatever, was getting rather annoying to have the site offline or run super slow for so long recently. |
