Default Hood Tac Wiring Question

My hood Tac seems to work..... But, only when the wipers are turned on!! This is a 3 wire repro tac, so I assume that 2 of the 3 are good, but that the one that looks to be wired to the wiper motor is not going to the right place.

Can anyone explain to me like I am a 5 year old, were the 12v key on power wire needs to go?? Pictures are also extremely helpful.

At first, I thought it was a bad ground and that maybe when it rained the water was making the connection and allowing the tac to work, again. The other day, I bumped the wipers on in dry conditions and lo and behold, the tac worked!

Where do the 3 tach wires connect to?

Have a schematic of how it's supposed to be wired?

I would think that one wire is to the coil (for the tach)
2nd would be a ground wire to a good ground.
3rd would be for a light, which would be 12v when lights are on?

I have no schematic. I can take some pics, if it would help!

1. from Sniper 2 tach output
2. Good ground
3. 12 v key on power (this was the one that was connected to the wiper motor and only powered the tach when wipers were on, this is where i need guidance)

Separate wiring for the tach lighting which works fine.

Don't connect the 12v supply to the wiper.
(I think it uses ground to work)

Should be plenty of 12v supplies to power it if wire is for 12v supply.
(use the 12v ignition from the Sniper?)
