It really is cool. It's crazy how the car basically followed the original owners around after they sold it, and it's still only a mile away from them.
Here's what she was able to grab out of the dealership back in the day. I guess they had these hanging from the ceiling, and the salesman said she could have a few. I've never seen one before. ![]()

It feels like a cardboard of some type with a foil covering. It has a steel eyelet to hang from. It's nifty.

Guessing by the colors, maybe they were planning on using reflective material like the Judge for the bird decals?
Would have probably been too much of a driver distraction and scrapped it? That thing is cool, very nice find! .

Man, that's awesome! Thanks for posting those pics. It's pretty cool something like that has survived all this time.

I got another batch of parts in. One of them is the radiator support decal. Ames lists this as correct for 1970, as opposed to another that they offer for less money.
Are the corners supposed to be sharp points, or rounded off? I see cars with both. Also, is there an agreed upon placement? I figured they were just slapped on in a general area near the upper radiator hose.

This is an original, looks like it had square corners at some point.

The original sticker that was on your core support had right angle edges. I would have to dig into an old computer, but I did take pics. It was on the right facing engine, had another black emissions sticker on left for California's emissions.

That’s the exact decal I purchased from Ames performance and have installed on my 1970 bird also! Very happy with the quality of it, shown here.
Congrats also on scoring that cool memorabilia from the previous owner! That is very cool, and definitely 70s colors!

Based on initial only being 9 degrees, was the vacuum advanced connected to manifold vacuum or ported vacuum?

Coker tire update:
Tires have been on order since the beginning of the year. Constant delivery date pushbacks. Now it's looking like a batch has been made, but they aren't passing quality control. For the amount of money they ask for these things, they should be dipped in gold and install themselves. Instead we get QC issues after a year backorder. Ya just cant win sometimes

I understand the frustration, but were I in your shoes, I would be glad that they are big on qc - especially at their price point.
It also helps that you aren’t exactly in need of them right now.
