Default header fit question (Doug Thorley tri-y)

would Doug Thorley tri y headers for a second gen firebird fit a 66 GTO ? I am mostly a first gen F body guy but have eyes on a 66 gto and a guy I know has these headers...

No header manufacturer grouped those two cars together on the same set of headers, so the only way you make them fit is with a hammer and a torch.

the reason I thought there was a possibility is because the factory exhaust manifolds interchange between second gen Birds and A body cars.

Sure RA3 on 68-72 - A bodies and second gen F body inter change, but not with the early a bodies

H-O Racing built their round port Tri-Y headers to fit both A-body and second-gen F-body cars so it might be worth a try with those Doug Thorley ones. If they’re a no go I’m sure they would be easy to sell.

H-O first marketed second-gen F-body D-port Tri-Ys but those weren’t made to fit A-body cars.
