Local POCI chapter dinner, trip, and farm visit
We had a chapter family dinner at Lamplighter Restaurant in Delmont Pa. There were 40 of us. Tim and Penny Dye were there speaking about Pontiac Museum and next years POCI convention. Museum progress is amazing. Talking about a Pontiac car raffle at convention. Tim was also there to pick up Bishop Kulicks ( he is member of our chapter)1926 Pontiac for museum and 100 years of Pontiacs. Then Saturday morning went to Lincoln Highway Experience Museum near Latrobe. There were 30 of us. We had coffee and pie in an antique stainless steel diner! You do not want to know the cost to restore!!!!! Then one of our members invited us to his farm, 8th generation, relative was kidnapped by Indians back when, for get together. He has hay rides and a huge 'CORN
MAZE'.He does the maze every year to help with expenses. Different design every year. Amazing
the creativity. Barb Gordan and Pam got the food at Subway and Walmart. Talked Pontiacs. Some went on hayride. He has 2 rides going. Some played 'Genga' with 2x4 blocks about 36" high. All in all a fun Pontiac weekend. It was pitch black at camp fire when I and Randy Reese left. First time learning about the 'Corn Maze' A lot of people there takes about an hour.
