Default 70 GTO - where did my fender crease go

Doing body prep and rough in on my 70 GTO. Original fenders and doors. I am curious about the upper fender crease - it is sharp and prominent on the fender even to the rear edge although fading a little - but it is does not continue onto the door at all. Does this crease really disappear at the door gap?

My 70 LeMans beater still has original paint on the door and rear fender. The body line in the rear fender ends at the gap. No sharp crease at the back of the door. The body line in the door ends about mid-way but there is a subtle but sharper curve that carries the body line along the door from front to rear. Blocking all this must be a nightmare.

Thanks for the reply but I'm asking about the upper fender to door crease. That is the belt line crease at the door to quarter panel. The top of the fender has a sharp line but as it hits the door where the mirror is it disappears

My mistake. I apologize.

My LeMans has a different fender than GTO but I believe the doors are the same and hopefully, the fender line is too.

Here's the upper left fender on mine, door has original paint:

Ok thanks - so the crease does actually die on the fender
