I was mistaken on tta's recent post with new best times... it was a 12.080, about as close to 11 as you can get. He said track conditions werent very good and next time leaving on more boost should break 11's... the 301 in the article isnt stock, but regardless thats very fast and making awesome power for a 301.

I think that may be a bit misleading. Weather that day for that track was in the 48-52 degree range. Ideal for turbos. The question is "No Changes" to go .26 faster "without any changes"???

Let's review the facts on his runs....
corrected altitude when he made those runs over 400 feet BELOW SEA LEVEL
Oxygen was off the charts
Temp was 52 degrees
Track wasn't slippery from the video
Can you say PERFECT STORM !!!!!!!!!

I called him to congratulate him on the run and wished him good luck in getting to the 11s

FYI when I made the 12.14 run, the corrected altitude was 700 ft. temp was 72 degrees and my car weighed considerably more because of the rules
