I have seen this Truck once before in the GM Flint Engine Parking lot, but it was early September. I was surprised to see it last Friday in Mid November. The white stuff on the blacktop is road salt, as we had a couple of inch's of snow earlier in the week.

Early Maverick. My family got a light blue 200 six automatic one after my brother got his license to drive. The 428 Mercury Montego got traded in on it. My brother wasn't to be trusted.

When was the last time you saw one of these things?
It appeared to be well maintained. I was able to notice water beading up on the obviously waxed body panels.

I actually saw 2 things last summer at a big car show in Bellefountain OHIO believe it or not, a stock one, and one with a Subaru WRX engine in it. Both owned by the same guy.

My buddy I high school had a bright orange VW thing w a roll cage. He also had about 10 more of them in various states of disrepair his other car was a 340 hemi box 83/4 challenger that ran 10s ,
Didn’t get a pic but last week in old Saybrook CT o saw a beautiful carousel red 69 firebird 400 convertible ripping around. Scrambled for my phone thinking of this thread but no such luck it was gone

A friend of mine ordered a new Fairmont in 78 or 79, I was surprised how quick it was with the 302 and a 4-speed manual. After he did some tuning on it it ran mid to high 14's in the 1/4. My 70 GTO with the high mileage 400, would beat it, but not by much. It tougt me a good lesson on power to weight and gearing. It would take me off the line for about 60=90 feet and I would slowly pass him and nose him out by 1/2 a car legnth

Its a Fox body too, which means most Mustang/T-Bird parts will interchange.
IIRC it was the Torino replacement and in turn was replaced by the Taurus.

Should qualify:
I was googling directions to my grandsons basketball game and went to street level to find the entrance and this pops up. Once caught a big airliner in a satellite image, was looking down seeing the top of the plane.

I live in the Modesto CA area and rarely see anything old driving around. You think it would be the opposite with all the car shows and Graffiti week during the summer.
