Can you install the engine with long tube headers installed on the engine in a 75 TA?

I tried just looking at the engine bay and visualizing it. May have to really dip the rear down to clear the frame and engine mounts.

X2 no, asking for trouble and possible damage. Best to do as most header companies suggest for install, raise front/rear of car as much as you can, then with a helper up top to guide them into place, install them from under the car. Most headers have a slot in the center hole to hang from the bolt started in the head at that location, then you can start the rest of the bolts.

Also helps to remove the oil filter housing and starter for better clearance and lift the engine off the mounts as much as the firewall will allow.

Thanks for the suggestion. When we installed the headers on the run in stand I noticed those slots in the center of the headers. I figured that what the slot was for plus it makes a difficult to install bolt easier.

I may try to install the headers when the engine can be bolted to the motor mounts but then keep the hoist hooked up to facilitate bolting the headers up then install the bolts in the engine mounts
