Pontiac 535 Race Engine
For Sale - Pontiac 535 - 954hp Race Engine. Selling carb to pan.
This is the primary engine from my 68 Firebird and was refreshed recently. I built this engine in 2023 and all components were new at that time. This engine qualified in the top half of the Q16 field at Norwalk Pontiac Nationals in 2023 & 2024. Runs 5.70-5.80 in the 1/8 mile & 9.00-9.20 in the 1/4 mile at 3150 pounds. It's a very reliable and consistent combination that has won on the local and national level in both brackets and NHRA Super Street. This engine is fresh off the dyno. Zero passes since refresh. Selling as I'm moving my engine program to pump gas to reduce racing costs. Some details: All Pontiac Steel Block, 50mm Roller Cam Tunnel, .842 Bushed Lifter Bores, Dry deck. Std/Std Callies Extreme H Beam 6.7" Rods Ross 4.35" Race Pistons with Total Seal Gas Ported Ring Set KRE 430cfm Hi Ports, 56cc chamber, Isky Springs and fresh valve job Port matched BOP intake Holley Gen 3 1150 dominator Comp Cams 50mm 4/7 swap roller cam (specs provided to owner) T&D Shaft Rockers 1.75 Ratio, Smith Bros 3/8" pushrods Crower Bushed Hippo Roller Lifters Rollmaster Billet Roller Timing Chain/Gears Luhn Oil Pump Milodon Oil Pan Moroso Vacuum Pump ATI Balancer with Tin Indian Drive Mandrel Powermaster Starter Mezziere Water Pump MSD Distributor and Moroso Ultra 40 Wires Compression 14.5:1. Requies C14 or equivalent fuel. All machining done by Jax Specialty Engines in Minneapolis and Kritzy Engines in St Paul. Engine comes with all build clearances, pics of assembly process and specs.
