Guys,

I have read all of the posts about upgrading to a dual M/C. They are GREAT! I purchased a M/C and the lines are on the driver side of the M /C and are right up against the fender and battery wire junction. I have done one of these many years ago and used a M/C that had the line out the passenger side and or both. I do not recall what that was from. Corvette? or GMC truck? Would anyone know that without doing an hour or so of research? The guys at AutoZone run and hide when I walk in the store!!

I’m at work so I don’t have time to scan through this. But I’m 99% sure I mentioned somewhere in this a master cylinder option with ports on the passenger side. I’m fairly certain it’s a Cadillac part.

I used a c10 master in the video. It works out the driver side like normal but you do have to make a sharp turn. So I can see the allure of the passenger side exit.

I just worked thru this myself on my '64, & found the same thing. Had to use adapters for the MC, and then the lines - even tho tightly curved - were basically against the fender well. The pass-side ports MC is indeed a Cadillac one- I want to say I used a '65-66 unit [Cadillac used dual-pot MCs since '62].

Used a mc from Master Power Brakes and it had ports on both sides and came with plugs to close off the ones you don't use.

They have a variety of options and yes, it has outlets on both sides.

i came up with the same thing. 1962 caddy had the ports on the engine side. 1" bore.
