I need to replace the brake shoes on my 1967 GTO, which is power drum. I've had the same shoes that came with the car 20 years ago when I bought it.
I'm considering the ones our host at ames performance sells, and was wondering if anyone has used them and how you like them. Thanks in advance. |

Nothing wrong with buying the shoes from AMES. I would, however, check with Autozone, the Parts Geek, Rock Auto, O'Rielly's for a better price and to see if they offer a better shoe.
Also worth it to buy a Master Hardware kit to replace the springs and retainers and adjusters. AMES has those and they are correct. |
