Default I don't know about you... a Christmas treat

I don't know about you, but seeing PY email notifications show up in my inbox two days ago was, to me, a real Christmas treat!

Now if we could just find another solution aside from this pesky cloudfare nonsense (EVERY site seems to be getting on board with this now BTW) that would be spectacular.

Maybe if the member is known to be legit, and logged in, it shouldn't need to constantly re-verify.

Yesterday, I needed to re-verify when I opened up the 'smilies' window when creating a post! - now if that doesn't show it to be absurd, I don't know what does.

Anyway - I want to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas.

Haven't had a notification in 2 or 3 months.
Rechecked all the settings.

Merry Christmas

I own and run a car forum, I would never put that on.
But I don’t do ads either, you open the door up when you allow adds on a forum.

Not had notifications for a couple decades.
Cloudfare seems to time-out if i take a minute on a page.

waiting 10-20 seconds to log on is worth it if it makes it easier the Admins here to manage the onslaught of scammers out there.

rather than make a new thread, I figured I'd bump this one.

I guess it was just a "pre-Christmas treat" - because notifications stopped again
