All,

I seem to remember see someone is reproducing the trunk drop off to quarter panel brace that welds in that the rear bumper side brackets bolt to. They are located in the trunk on the sides. I can’t find them now? Anyone know who/where they were available?

they are absolutely available;
They are included in the couple iterations of the full trunk floor assemblies...
I was pretty sure I have seen them solo too...

Let me find supplier info and part numbers...

Unruhjonny,

The only ones I have seen included with the truck panface the back, not the sides.

The ones I need attached from the top of the trunk drop offs to the quarter panels where the sides of the bumper bolt to the body.

I circled in red on the pic below. The brace is behind, inside the trunk where the side bolts on.

I know the parts you are wanting;
I recently ordered a full trunk floor - but not the one with EVERYTHING on it, because my rear frame rails are good under the trunk, and I'm going to have to modify the full trunk pan for my car as-is.

I did just look in my two handy catalogs, and didn't see them but I was sure I saw them in recent weeks... ???
I know I did a LOT of research before ordering, as this is probably the second most expensive panel I have bought to date - I am sure I saw them come up during that research.

I also have the two originals from my car, and the two attached to my donor quarters (purchased prior to repops being available)...

This part must be available as the whole 70-73 Shell can be bought now, around 16,000 with no doors as I recall.

I talked to RealDealSteel a ways back trying to buy the filler panels I make before I decided to make them. They told me they won’t sell them and several other pieces as they are not made like the original, they just do what’s necessary to connect point a to point b.
