Default Pontiacs at Mecum Kissimmee

I have been watching the results from the Kissimmee Auction. Pontiacs continue to bring strong money, The 70 GTO Judge Ram Air IV convertible tribute car sold for $135,000 hammer price plus the 10% commission for a total of $148,500. It was listed here in the classifieds for $150,000. My guess was that it would bring $130,00 hammer price and not sell. I was close. Beautiful car! I would say the buyer and the seller were both happy. What are your thoughts on this car?

It would be easy to tie that much money into having one built from a good donor car.
Probably someone who owns a genuine IV Jvert bought it to drive around town.
Congrats to the buyer and seller
