[SD73]

I was 37. It was shortly after 9/11 and I thought the way things were going in the world I should treat myself to a Pontiac because you never know. The prices seemed to be dropping at that time. I was originally looking at a '71 HO when I stumbled on my '73 for about the same price. The SDs first got my attention when I started really looking into the Birds just after high school. The SD was the top dog for me back then but way out of my budget. Consumer Guide put out a special called Super Performance Pontiac I got at the time that became my bible. I still have that magazine now in well worn, but cherished condition. I had 2 '79 T/As before I made it to my SD.
