I don't know if anyone can still stomach watching the show on ABC on Wednesday nights. But last night they showed a (I'll say an '80 with Turbo wheels) Trans Am and later say it's a '77. So expect to see an actual '77 later on, if the show continues.

I take it you haven't seen the 70 GTO on the show that he restored.

Yes. That was a '70 GTO and they called it a '70 GTO. They just used a wrap or something to make it look like a faded red. With the hood open, you could see the shiny black, which they revealed "finished" car in the beginning of Season 2, I believe. On this new one, I don't think they'll be swapping wheels and pulling front end to reveal "finished" car. They'll just drag another of Tim's car out of mothballs. Tim's a car guy and should know better.

I kind of like the show. It is one of the few shows that actually has some cool cars in it. I like Tim Allen.

Supposedly the various collector cars used as props on the show belong to Tim Allen. Even if Tim weren't the owner, he would know that the Trans Am wasn't a '77 and as a car guy, would point out such a blatant error in the script.

I like the show for the most part. It could be ALL about the Cars, and Jay Leno pop in on every episode and I would love it, but.... they need the drama...

Held For Ransom, I'm with you. I know it's TV and they wanted to use the nickname 'Bandit', but it did annoy me that on a Tim Allen show they would call out the wrong year.

This is the first Tim Allen show that I can’t seem to get interested in, I have liked all his other ones.
