Default Dash paint

My 68 is at the body shop and the first step is to replace the upper dash panel and paint the dash. Does anyone know what gloss the paint for the upper dash should be and if it is the same for the dash pieces like the glove box, steering column, etc.?

Also, is the gauge pod painted with the same % gloss?

I am going with black interior so I really just need to know the correct sheen.

Thanks in advance,

Jeremy

Jeremy, you didn't mention what model you had, but for the A bodies the upper dash was 0% gloss. Lower dash 30% gloss

Yes, it's 0% gloss for the '68 Firebird also;

The '72 Parts Book has the paint codes for the '68 Pontiacs. Exterior/upper instrument panel/interior/wheels/ trunk/engine

I don't know how to post a photo or .pdf here or subscribe to a photo sharing site so, if you would want a copy of the paint colors page, PM me your email and I'll send it to you.
