Default 84 GP swap

Hi all,

I am looking at a 400 transplant into an 84 GP with a 3.8 6 cylinder. I have the 265 brackets so that's covered. 2 questions, 1st- The front springs- I'm thinking something used on the 350 Olds diesel would be a good match to a 400 & TH350. The 3.8 springs just doesn't seem right for a Strato-Streak V8. 2nd- I don't suppose there are AC brackets for a rotary AC compressor that work on a full size V8? That would mean converting to one of the newer A6 compressors which I think might have been used on some of the 81 265's?

Thanks,

Mark
