I have a 1965 Bonneville and I just had the brake booster rebuilt and I am trying to put it back in the car but I'm struggling getting the 4 studs through the firewall. Between the two panels and the spacers which are floating around a bit then the brace for the brake pedal all lining up is testing me. Are there any secrets to getting all the pieces lined up with the four studs?

Maybe get some larger diameter disposable plastic drinking straws, cut them down to 3, 4, 5 and 6" lengths and slit them enough to get them to fit the booster studs. Feed the longest one first, then second, etc.

I recently installed a booster in a 66 Bonneville. I needed a second person, (helper), to manipulate the bracketing inside the car to allow everything to slide into position. It was a little challenging. I was unable to get it through all the layers myself from under the hood.
