Default 1966 GTO Rear bumper center bracket measurement

Can someone please measure the length of their rear bumper center bracket. From bumper to frame. A friend of mine is gathering parts for his GTO and needs the rear center bracket. I have one, but I am not sure what it is for. No part number on it. if someone could measure theirs it would be appreciated.
Thanks for your help, Bob C.

I don't have any measurements on hand to offer, but IIRC the '66 brace had a relief/notch for fuel spillage.
What I don't know is if the '65 design carried over and/or if it has the same dimensions.
