The weird thing is it is not just this website:
Some, like Flyertalk, HAMB, Fark, Reuters, Google flights work quick... others, such as Airliners.net, Alaska Airlines, AA, BA, IB, NYT - all time out. This on 2 different browsers. |

Worst I've ever seen tonight. Got the Cloudflare SSL handshake failure page several times trying to get to the Lobby, was shocked when it opened this time. Other pages have taken 20 seconds or more to load (CH, tech and for sale), and I've changed from using Duck and Brave to mostly trying Chrome these last few days. Android, if it matters.

You know no matter how slow it is it is by far the best resource there is. The amount of users that will actually assist you with correct information is immeasurable. If you don't believe me venture into world of faceless book and the spam ridden garbage that is out there. This forum has been an incredible benefit to me when I started my 66 GTO restoration and I've made some really good friend over the years even if I've never seen them face to face, I will stay here waiting sort of patiently LOL.

The speed can really vary. During about a 30 minute session it started out very slow and after awhile it was working at a great speed and then it got slow again. ??????

It has been mostly slow here with occasional timeouts for over a week but there have been brief snippets of normal which maintain my hope.
Sorry if this is obvious but do the forum admins communicate performance issues like this to their contact at PY? When the Cloudflare screen was implemented, I recall someone from PY or Maxperformance got it done. This tells me they care and it would be nice to know these performance glitches have been surfaced to those having power to address. If they get the memo and choose not to invest the effort or money, that's at least an answer. This is by far my biggest resource and I would not want it to go away if it's avoidable. The rest of the online resources are unreliable and uninformed at best. |

I saw the title to the thread and thought it was about chevrolets
 Anyway, yes, this site is beyond slow to the point it is annoying. I have 3 different lap tops on 2 different operating systems- all are slow using this sight so, it is not on my end. Then, there is the repeated, stupid security Bs page I have to go through countless times. This reminds me why I no longer frequent this site. Lots of good content here for sure but, too much trouble and time to access can this be improved?
