There is only 1 company that makes these dash pads, all the retailers sell the same one from OER I think. Reviews are hit or miss on the quality & fitment. Another option is a cap that covers 90% of the dash but you can see the edges.

Best option would probably be the dash restoration companies that will take your core and restore it, not cheap but check out just dashes or a guy name Al Knoch(?)

Are the OER ones available? Thought they stopped production on those?

I didn't realize that they were all made by one company, but everywhere I have checked it's out of stock with no ETA for replenishment

That's what I thought. I don't think they've made them for years. I searched for one in like 2021 and none to be found, other than some secondhand private sellers with huge markups.

Sometimes 2nd Gen Graveyard have some on hand, you could reach out to them.

They have a service they use, and can send yours' off for recovering.

There are a number of places that have that service, hit-or-miss on some, prices all over the place.

Not sure if the OER dashes are still available, Ive seen a few pop up in the last year or 2 from smaller companies/sellers.

The recovering prices do vary, Ive heard of $1500-1750 from just dashes, (Ive sold them a couple cores to restore) and more recently this year was about $1000 from Al Knoch but think that was a new years special a friend of mine sent them a 1972 core dash I sold him.

I had Dash Pad Pros do a dash for me, I didn't have a core, and shipped they charged me $890. Quality was 'good', I would say driver quality. This was in 2022.

I got a 2nd QA from them off egay for the GTO, think I paid $700 shipped, and it too is just 'good', driver quality. But that was like 2018 or so.

Don't think Dash Pad pros is still in biz, I just looked around and the website is dead.

AL Knoch is $1200 + core:

You can sometimes find good used ones, or unused restored ones, they pop up every now and then. Can try to go to shows & swap meets too.

2nd Gen Graveyard does them for $925 + core:

Like I said, they sometimes have them in stock. They usually send a handful out at a time to get redone, think they use Al Knoch.

Call them.
